Admission Guidelines

Objective:

The policy shall cover the rules and regulations regarding the admission of students at Lords College of Pharmacy

Purpose

1.  To evaluate the students either they fulfill Minimum Criteria for Admission in given Discipline.
2.  Keep the Record of Applying Students and Admitted Students before and after the Admission.
3.  Admission process will be fully transparent.
4.  No ethnic and gender bias will be considered in admission process

Admission Rules

Admission will be opened once a year under annual system. Applications received for admission are reviewed for eligibility criteria. Eligible candidates are required to appear in admission test of Lords College of pharmacy. Final merit list will be determined on basis of past academies performance and marks obtained in admission test. If the students fails in any subject, does not achieved required aggregate marks, or does not submit the mark sheet within 1 week after result declaration shall lead to disqualification from the program and cancellation of admission. Candidates waiting for results will be allowed to apply for provisional admission. But they will be given admission only after they have submitted the attested copies of their certificates/ degrees within the prescribed time notified by college. In case of foreign qualification, applicant should provide documents equivalence, issued by IBCC. At the time of submission of admission form, they will also be required to submit an undertaking that they understand the rules/policy of admissions and that if they fail to submit the required documents within the prescribed time, they will not be given admission. Application for admission shall be entertained only on a prescribed form. Each successful applicant will be issued admission letter and fee voucher by college.
Student who have completed all the formalities and deposit their fees and other dues on the prescribed date are eligible for registration as bonafide student of Lords College of Pharmacy. Admission of student will be cancelled if a newly admitted student does not pay fee or any due within the due date notified by college.

 

Registration/Enrollment Rules

At the time of registration the applicants will be required to produce their original certificates that will be returned to student after verification and making entries.
Student will be allocated college registration number and will be issued the college registration card.
Student shall not be promoted in next professional year until they have passed all courses of prerequisite year.
 

Financial Aid Rules

Students who want to avail the facility of financial assistance or fee concession shall obtain the prescribed form from account office. After completion submit the form along with their application within prescribed time notified by account office.Application will be reviewed by competent authority and fee concession is subjected to maintain excellent academic result. Failure to do so may lead to complete withdrawal or reduction of fee concession as described by competent authority. Tuition fee etc. shall not be refunded but will be adjusted in the next professional year in accordance with the condition prescribed.

Admission Policy

Program Offered: Pharm-D
Duration of Program: 5 years
Eligibility Criteria: F.Sc (Premedical) with minimum 60% marks
Admission Criteria: F.Sc Marks + Entry Test

Admission Test

1. Admission test comprises of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
2. The Course of the test will be from Intermediate Level.
3. The Test Should Cover the Following Subjects Equally

            a) Biology
            b) Chemistry
            c) Physics
           d) English
           e) General Knowledge

Admission offer

1. Admission will be confirmed after the deposition of fee.
2. Failure to submit the fee on the Due date will lead to cancellation of the Admission.
3. Subject to the availability of vacant allocated seats a second list will be displayed.
